Girlfriend Gatherings

Invite your own friends for a lettering gathering. In-home classes of your choice with all materials provided. I show up to teach while you provide the space and hostess necessities.  It's a fun way to gather for celebrations or events. $250 for instruction plus travel expenses and material fees (usually around $10-15 per student)

 

Beginner Modern Brush Calligraphy- 2-3 Hour Small Group Class

 No experience is required. Learn to use the brush pen to make beautiful brush lettering. Your friends, Your Venue, My Passion for Letters. All materials included and each student will bring materials and a small project home with them.  $100 per hour instructor fee plus $10 material fee per student.

Traditional  Calligraphy -Full  Day, Small Groups, or    One on One

Learn the traditional Italic or Blackletter alphabet with a flat-edged pen.  Group classes or one on one. Contact Kellie for pricing and more information.  No previous experience required. Materials provided. $600 plus material fee and travel expenses.

Suminagashi- Japanese Water Marbling

This is a fun 2-3 hour class perfect for small groups and girlfriend gatherings.  All materials provided. No experience or artistic inclinations are needed to create beautifully marbled papers. $250 at your venue up to 12 students all materials provided.

Cola Pen Calligraphy: 2-3 Hour Small Group Class

2-3 hour class. Learn to make your own cola pen and a simple cola pen alphabet.  Perfect creative small group activity. No lettering experience required.All materials included and each student will bring materials and a small project home with them.  $100 per hour instructor fee plus $10 material fee per student.

Simple Citrasolve Backgrounds for Calligraphy- 4 Hour Class

A 2-4 hour workshop using Citrasolve orange cleaner to create gorgeous backgrounds that can be scanned or used originally for calligraphy, collage and other artistic processes. $100 per hour instructor fee plus $20 material fee per student. Materials provided by instructor.

Folded Book- 3 hour class

A 2 hour class dedicated to one folded gift book pattern that can be utilized for gifts, holidays and special events.  Incorporate Calligraphy, Collage or other personal creative elements to make this beautiful gift. Materials provided by instructor. Each student will bring home 1 finished book and templates to make more. $100 per hour instructor fee plus $10 material fee per student.
